Stop by Hot*Pop This Friday for Hot and Fresh Local Vinyl

Release shows are naturally celebratory, but local musician Pezzettino (Margaret Stutt) knows more than anyone that all that hard work warrants a total party — especially when vinyl is involved. This Friday, Stutt releases her first wax tracks, with special attention going to her new single, “You Never Know”, of which the song (and video above), documents her recent tour experiences. This particular song revolves around the ruminations of a musician en route via a Megabus traveling from Milwaukee to Chicago.

Stutt’s new sound taps into the energy of hitting the road, matching her bubbly spirit and adds upbeat glockenspiel and her trademark accordion. Already it’s gotten great feedback from local press and national to boot. Kentucky-based blog, You Ain’t No Picasso says “‘You Never Know’ is easily the best thing…from her yet. It’s part sunshine-pop, part Page France and all adorable”.

Catch the sunshine-pop of Pezzettino at Hot*Pop (the home of awesome vinyl Japanese toys, cool sneakers and gear, art and oddities), this Friday, December 11th at 7 p.m. DJ DwooD [No Request Sound] will be spinning his jams in between performance art-inspired sets from Stutt and “You Never Know” will be available, with local artist Dwellephant on hand to paint a personalized 45 cover, just for you.
