New Video From The New Loud

The above video for local electro-punk band, The New Loud’s song “Don’t Dance” is a contradiction in visuals versus song title, with its subjects captured in moments of spinning, twisting and turning amidst a chorus of synths, guitars and frantic vocals. A call to dance arms, the video, directed by Jack Packard, was filmed in various Milwaukee locations, including the Cactus Club and the Humphrey Scottish Rite Masonic Center.

New Loud guitarist Shane Olivo produced and recorded the EP and it was mixed by Mark Trombino. The band is expecting to release the song on their forthcoming EP, Can’t Stop Not Knowing, due out next month, and will host their official EP release show at the Cactus Club on Saturday, February 6th. Bring your dancing shoes.
