Happy Day Two of WMSE’s Radio Summer Camp and many thanks to all those who came and hung out with us at Turner Hall last night! We’re all pretty jammed to be heading towards the weekend riding on that energy from RSC’s kickoff show, and really looking forward to tonight’s all-electronic set from locals All Tiny Creatures for MELT at Club Garibaldi’s (see previous post for details). Oh, and Handsome Furs tonight at The Rave. Oh, yes.
With all that, we can barely wrap our collective brains around how great Friday is going to be, but we have to, to keep you all informed and in line, and one of our favorite shows to inform you about is taking place at the Stonefly Brewing Co. with former Midwesterner, DEDE. The pop chanteuse breathes melodies in the same manner of The Bird and The Bee and when paired with Milwaukee’s own hip hop MC Melissa Czarnik and the energetic pop duo of Vic and Gab, the ladies will undoubtedly turn Stonefly into a pretty sweet dancefloor for your Friday night. What could be better? Maybe an interview with Miss DEDE, herself? Tune into 91.7 FM WMSE on Dori’s show today (12 p.m. – 3 p.m.) to catch some words on what’s lined up for Friday.
