We’re excited to announce that the live broadcast and recording studio renovation is complete and live music will return to WMSE this Tuesday. The first band to take advantage of the new studio will be Magnetic Minds. This duo is the rock and roll teamup of bassist/vocalist Chris Ortiz (Speedfreaks, El Gordo) and drummer Tim Wick (Test-Site). While only a duo, these guys use loops, keyboards, maracas and whatever else they can put their hands on as well as their mastered instruments to convey their love of hooks, melody and straight up rock ‘n’ roll jams that aim to perpetuate positivity and success in life. Getting back to performing live is now at the top of their list on account of their anticipated first (full-length) release. Tune in this Tuesday for the return of Local/Live and live music in general on WMSE 91.7FM. WMSE.org to stream, live, or 91.7 FM on your radio dial.
