Formed in 2003 by longtime songwriting collaborators Chad Sikkink and Seamus Holloway, Litmus Vinyl has since traveled through a gamut of sounds and styles in their lives shows and studio work. Blending rock, Latin, folk, jazz, world, Americana and R&B in an accessible, yet boundary-pushing manner (“rootsy” with some “swagger” so they say), Litmus Vinyl is ever-changing, but remains grounded to their founding musical mission. Tune into WMSE tonight at 8 p.m. to hear the diverse sounds Bill Pogue, Ryan Hudson, Sean Lau, Jess Hrobar, Holloway, Sikkink pull together for another edition of Local/Live. Head to WMSE.org to stream, live or to find it in the archives or simply tune your radio to 91.7 FM.
