Originally from Austin, TX, Allen Coté is a composer and multi-instrumentalist. Coté has contributed to recordings and performances by The Championship, Juniper Tar, Chris Demay, Heidi Spencer and the Rare Birds, Trapper Schoepp & the Shades, The Wildbirds, Jonathan Burks and many others, and currently composes the music for the PBS show Wisconsin Foodie. The Bad Verse consists of hotshot session musicians Kavi Laud, Jeff Brueggeman and Sarah Gilbert, who have worked with such artists as The New Red Moons, The Great Lake Drifters, Jayme Dawicki, Flojo and Meadow Parish. They were assembled for the purpose of recording a new album, due out in the Fall, but quickly transformed into something more closely resembling a cult – together, they may be the world’s most dangerous band. Tune into WMSE to find out more and listen to music from this dangerous group tonight at 8 p.m. as they play a live set for Local/Live — WMSE.org to stream live or in the archives or simply tune your radio dial to 91.7 FM WMSE
