Tune into the Melissa Show today at 2:30 p.m. for a special acoustic set from Milwaukeean Trapper Schoepp as he prepares for his Milwaukee Unplugged set tomorrow night at UWM’s Zelazo Center (2419 E. Kenwood). Schoepp will be joined by Macyn Taylor and will be featuring songs from he and his band’s (‘The Shades’) new album, Run, Engine, Run, out on SideOneDummy Records next week, Tuesday. The album has already been garnering some pretty sweet press from the likes of the Alternative Press and Rock Sound UK Magazine, which recently wrote, “[Run, Engine, Run] is a gleaming collection of Midwestern rock ‘n’ roll tales that are wide-eyed, sincere and poetic”. Listen in on Schoepp’s stripped-down versions on WMSE today — tune in at 91.7 FM on your radio dial if in the Milwaukee area or stream live or in the archives at WMSE.org.
