Centipedes, Milwaukee’s newest rock savants, have only a handful of shows in their new-band memory, but are already one of the city’s most rumbled-about rockers. Comprised of Kelsey Kaufmann, Adam Helwin, Patrick Fuller and Christopher Brook, the quartet makes good used of heavy percussion and melodic guitar lines, with the added emotive vocals of Fuller. The band recently played Locust Street Festival and were an appropriately energetic opener for the recent Monotonix show at the Bay View Legion Hall. Check out a video of their recent show with Red Knife Lottery at the Cactus Club — the band’s song “Robot Village” was shot by Jack Packard. Centipedes will perform on WMSE’s Local/Live tonight at 8 p.m. Tune into 91.7 FM on your radio dial or stream online/listen in the archives at WMSE.org.
