With a childhood full of Motown and jazz records amidst a backdrop of the Detroit/Ann Arbor music scene, Zach Saginaw grew a deep understanding and passion for electronic production, drums and jazz. After studying music at the New School in NYC, the beats ensued and Saginaw moved out to Brooklyn and became ‘Shigeto’. Shigeto’s palette is infused with IDM, dubstep, ambient and sub-bass. He has proven himself to be a serious producer and his first two EPs on Ghostly International are clear evidence. Saginaw’s latest project, Full Circle Remixes, is a must listen. Check out the track, “Look At All The Smiling Faces (Take Remix),” and I promise it’ll leave you wanting more.
