WMSE Song of the Day (Tune In Turn Up): Neon Indian “Polish Girl”

As of late, it has been more apparent than ever that the musical direction of ‘chillwave’ is here to stay. Keyboards, synthesizers, looping, sampling, etc. make up the genre that defines modern electro-pop. Alan Palomo — aka Neon Indian-– will release his sophomore album, Era Extraña [Mom + Pop Records], September 13th and the release will fall directly into the recent releases reminiscent of 80’s dream pop music. Palomo wrote and recorded his new material  in Helsinki over the winter, which is full of blips and bleeps and will most certainly get you dancing.
