Tune In, Turn Up: new music from The Asteroids Galaxy Tour

The Asteroids Galaxy Tour “Heart Attack”

Copenhagen, Denmark psych-soul band The Asteroids Galaxy Tour are pretty over the top, but in a fun, roller disco, drinking-champagne-on-a-Sunday-afternoon kinda way. Mette Lindberg, the effervescently wry vocalist is at turns sparked-up party girl and smarty-pants rebel, her backing soulful collective making beats drop and get funked up  while synths wobble behind her cute phrasings of ‘geez louise’. Dig Dee-Lite, Cornershop and Ladytron? This is the closest thing to that combination —  just add helium. Check out “Heart Attack” from the group’s new album Out of Frequency. Perfect Friday party-time music.
