The WMSE Halloween Programming Spooktacular

Earlier in the A.M., you might have received a missive from WMSE headquarters ruffling your feathers and fangs with news of what’s to come across your pointy little ears today when you tune in to the Mighty 91.

Today on the Paul Cebar program, Tom, Erin and Ryan are stepping in to cover for the beloved show host while he’s doing some musical globetrotting. Check out the photo above and you can see it is the infamous Nervous Norvus, himself (otherwise known as ‘The Fang’). We featured Norvus’ famous ditty earlier in the program, and it set our monster boots a-tappin’. Click on that photo and you can hear Norvus tell you all about how he came to have that name…if you dare!

Stick around on the airwaves and we’ll keep the spooky coming. Ryan wrote in that earlier missive that we will be treating you to the sounds of “creepy and crawly…all day long. Starting at 9 a.m., Halloween radio is doused in blood with our Frontier Fangs digging deep into your Satan-sold soul. You might hear some Halloween-themed radio somewhere else on the radio dial, but rest dead assured, heathens, we’re taking it to another undead level.

“It starts with Crawford, Wolf and Schleicher jumping in and out of costume [for the Cebar show]. At 3 p.m., blues from the depths of hell. At 6 p.m., it’s a haunted hayride with Crawford joined by creepy Cartunes Captain Deitrich. And to close out Halloween day, Crawford sits in on Team Metal, joined by Sir Alexander Stafford, Esq. for, well, it’s Team Metal and Helloween, you do the math.

“Nobody in Milwaukee is going to do it like WMSE is going to do it today. Tell us that you love that our cemetery shovels dig deeper, that our scythe hacks harder and our eyes shine blood-red bigger than anyone else’s today.
