Today on WMSE: Labware

Formed by Drew Herbst, Clint Selle, Nick Blavat, Chuck Wiercinski in 2011, Milwaukee’s Labware take their collective expertise and hone in on the architectural side of pop music, calling on sounds that are structured, yet melodic. The quartet cites varied influences such as Sonic Youth, Wilco, Low and Decemberists and play off of these in their new EP. Today, tune into WMSE at 1pm during the Local Lunchbox segment to listen as the band chats with Melissa about that EP and their upcoming show at Franks Power Plant this weekend.

Labware plays Franks Power Plant on Friday, July 26th with Outliers and Lightfoils. 9pm. 21+
