Today on WMSE: Brett Newski

Wisconsin-based musician, Brett Newski has been sharing his songs with another corner of the world more than his own country, lately; a globetrotting musician by choice and by trade. In 2011, Newski left his life in the States on a whim and made his way to Saigon and Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, meeting his future band mates (the ‘Corruption’ portion of Brett Newski & The Corruption) while there. Back on his home-turf for a bit, Newski has been busy touring up a storm here and making plans for visiting new corners of the world this fall, including a lengthy tour of South Africa and and the UK.

Tonight, Newski & the Corruption play Linnemans as a sendoff to his next venture, which officially begins next week. Tune into the Richard Nice Show at 2pm to hear the details and the newest tunes from Newski and Co. or 91.7 on your radio dial in Milwaukee.
